Because I scratched an HP PC and had a unit Seagate U Series 9 120 GB internal hard drive and wanted to know if my computer could work with Dell 531s

The bottom half is a SATA drive.
Check especially your current hard drive with a SATA cable, then you can buy a stick over its cable unit right there.
If the drive is IDE, you need to do something a little different. plugh have the IDE cable in the same level / width, which is connected to the CD-ROM. I still have a team that will see an IDE drive.
A final point should be, you might go with a SATA disk () is not only newer technology, but there is a possibility that the computer does not boot into Windows when you connect a hard drive on the ide-tape.
